Richard was seen on the big screen in July 2011 playing villain Heinz Kruger in Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger.” This summer, he returned as former SAS soldier John Porter in Sky/HBO/Cinemax's joint production of series two of "Chris Ryan's Strike Back." Richard recently completed a three-year turn as MI5 agent Lucas North in the acclaimed espionage drama "Spooks" on the BBC. He is also known for his portrayals of John Thornton in “North & South,” Guy of Gisborne in the BBC’s “Robin Hood,” Harry Kennedy in “The Vicar of Dibley,” Dr. Alec Track in “The Golden Hour,” and many other outstanding performances! Richard is also a well-respected reader of audiobooks, including Bernard Cornwell’s “Lords of the North,” three titles by Georgette Heyer, and multiple Robin Hood audiobooks.
